Agreement and Waiver

 

Delivery

 

Equipment is delivered on the day of the event date between 9am-5pm Dallas Event Rentals does not make any appointments for a specific time, Dallas Event Rentals will give you a 2hr delivery time frame where you need to be present to sign off on the invoice. Any deliveries before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm are considered “after hour” services at an after hr delivery rate fee.  Pick ups are done the following business day which on Saturday rentals it could be Sunday or Monday. If you need your  items picked up on a specific day and time this has to be arranged when you place your order.  Please note the office is closed on Sunday. Rentals will only be delivered either to the garage if alley is not available to access the back yard, or front door or front garage door (if the only access to your backyard is through a side gate the drivers will not take the items to the back yard and will only drop off by that gate as it is very difficult to roll carts through grass) for residence deliveries. Dance floors and tents will be set up. Extra fee may apply if our delivery guys have to walk 25ft or more from where the delivery van is located to where the items need to be dropped off – or if they have to take items up the stairs, this fee will be assessed at the drivers’ discretion upon arrival to deliver if it is not specified at reservation time.  If the delivery is to a business/commercial location and the drivers have to go up any amount of stairs or the freight elevators are more than 20ft from where the truck driver can unload or if the suite they are dropping off at is far from the elevator once they reach your floor you may be charged an extra charge. PLEASE CALL 214-484-2489 IF THERE IS ANY MALFUNCTION ON ANY RENTAL ITEMS AND LEAVE A MESSAGE ON OUR VOICE MAIL SO WE CAN HAVE A CHANCE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.  THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON ANY RENTAL ITEMS UNLESS WE ARE NOTIFIED THE DAY OF THE EVENT AT THE POINT IT IS DETERMINED THERE IS A PROBLEM.

 

 Rental Items have to be Picked up at the same place where they were dropped off to avoid a $75.00 PickUp fee.

 

Equipment Pick Up/Damage

Tables and chairs are to be broken down and placed in stacks for pick up, where they were dropped off unless you paid in advance for set up and take down services.  Please take down items the next day to be ready for pick up because drivers might come as early as 9am to pick up to avoid a non take down fee.  At least a $75 charge will be assessed for a non take down fee.  No tape on any part of the chairs and tables for any reason to avoid a clean up or damage fee.  All food service items are to be thoroughly rinsed prior to pick up. Please note to not leave any items laying on grass or near a water sprinkler or leave out in the rain because they might get wet and that will also cause a clean up fee. Linens (and any cloth rentals) are to be rid of all food, flowers, etc. to avoid any extra fees. Any permanent damage to lines is renters’ responsibility.  Please don't put linens in plastic bags. They will mildew.  Please wipe down all dirty items to avoid a $75 clean up fee. If items are not returned by the date stated in the invoice an extra day fee will be charge to the credit card on file for the first 24hrs, there after there will be a 20% late charge for the next day, if the items rented have not been returned after 3 days from the day they were picked up, the full price of the items will be charged to the credit card on file. In regards to carpet aisle runners they have to be rid of any permanent stains to avoid a loss fee and vacuumed when returned to avoid a cleaning fee.  Carpet aisle runners are not to be used outside or in the RAIN – if they are returned wet a cleaning fee will be assessed.


All rentals are due back the Next day before 12:00PM, to avoid a late fee charge.

 

Deposits/Cancellations/Payment

A 50% deposit is required for all rentals and is non refundable if you cancel your order at any time. Also, a 100% fee of the rental price will be charged on any rental if cancelled 3 business days or less of the day of your event.  A 50% charge will be also assessed on tents we take to a delivery site and try to setup and cant because of weather conditions.  Forms of payment accepted are cash, credit card (visa, mc, American express and/or discover) and company check (no personal checks).  If company check is returned unpaid due to non-sufficient funds you will be charged an extra $35 fee.

 

Damage/Loss Responsibility     You as the customer are responsible for any damage of the item(s) that are rented.  Items while in your care are your complete responsibility and you are responsible for any damage, theft or misuse of these items. 

Waiver -- We the renters (Dallas Event Rentals/S&E Party Pros) are not responsible for any damage or injury caused to the customer.  The customer will use items properly and be solely responsible for any injury caused by our rentals.  *  All extra fees will be charged to credit card on file.   **By signing this agreement and waiver you agree to all the terms and conditions listed above.
